Naturally occurring in the Kombucha due to the fermentation are active enzymes. These are proteins that help your body to breakdown food. The enzymes aid in the absorption of nutrients during digestion. They also help build muscle and remove toxins from your body.

Acetic acid is produced as the sugars in the Kombucha break down. This acid is what give the brew its distinctive tangy taste. Similar to Apple cider vinegar it breaks down harmful bacteria in your gut and also protect your health by promoting alkalinity in the body.

FERMENTATION

I fully ferment my Kombucha over several weeks to ensure that all the probiotics, enzymes, micronutrients and acids have time to fully develop. I use a wild fermentation process which synergies the simple ingredients that are used and over time develop into beneficial nutrients.

EFFERVESCENCE

During the fermentation process one of the byproducts is the creation of naturally developed CO2. This gives the Kombucha its natural effervescent which is Its bubbly or fizzy characteristic. The CO2 not only creates more enjoyment whilst drinking the Kombucha but also makes you feel full and curbs your appetite.

PROBIOTICS

The dominant strains of probiotics in BUCHa are Lactobacillus Bacterium and Bacillus coagulans among others, which support microbiome diversity. I believe in a method of “aerobic wild fermentation,” meaning I rely on naturally occurring bacteria and yeast to develop my Kombucha in the way nature intended.

THE FEELING

Kombucha is known to make you feel fresh and revitalized because it contains billions of living probiotics that supports gut health and promote overall well-being. If you are new to Kombucha you may experience the detoxifying effects typically associated with a cleanse. This may show up as gas, bloat, or a change in stool. For this reason, I recommend starting with about 200ml of BUCHa at first and gradually increasing your intake over time.

The gut health benefits of Kombucha provide an immune system boost. It's important to note that the digestive system and immune system are closely intertwined; the lining of the intestines creates antibodies that help protect the body. A huge portion (about 70%) of the immune system is found in the gut. thus optimal gut health is the key to a strong immune system. The fermenting bacteria in Kombucha can boost immunity, thanks to the dose of good bacteria they provide.
